Happy Homesteader - Handmade Artisan Soaps

Happy Homesteader evolved through my love of living on our property, my love of using beautiful ingredients and my love of supporting local.  All of this is poured in to my passion for soapmaking, and in to each and every bar.

I have a past history of running my own massage therapy business, and I combine my knowledge of the body to create beautiful soaps for the skin.

My honey soaps contain fresh raw honey from our own hives, and I love to use fresh goat milk in the majority of my soaps.

Each soap is lovingly handmade using the cold process method, and I only make in small batches – meaning that no two soaps are ever exactly the same.

I also compete monthly in a global soapmaking challenge and I’m proud to say that my soaps have taken out the Grand Prize once, and 2nd place twice.

The soaps themselves are minimally packaged, with a recyclable paper label, and the label itself is made from recycled non bleached paper.

I have a large variety of soaps available using many different colours, designs, fragrances and essential oils.  I also have fragrance free and colour free options.
